Thousands of event attendees were treated to amazing works of art that were largely centered around the Venetian theme. Many in the crowd were in agreement that this year’s artwork was some of the best ever in the history of the event, Carlomagno said.
Crowds also gathered in awed silence several times a day as models paraded over the mock Rialto Bridge in front of the Mission wearing intricately designed Venetian costumes created by Cynthia Carlomagno that were paired with the stunning Venetian mask creations of Veronica DeMartini.
Local bands also excited the crowds at this great community event, including Beso Negro, Moonalice, Bautista, Midnight North, The Abe Train, Ken Emerson, and Corinne West, Good Karma Jazz, and Lorin Rowan.
