For the lion’s share of Clifford Waldeck’s life, there have been two constants: Mill Valley and office supplies.

When he was just 11 years old, Waldeck began joining his father during the summer and school breaks at the family business, Waldeck Office Supplies, in downtown San Francisco.

“I would go into [San Francisco] with my dad in the morning and take the ferry and the bus back to Mill Valley.”

Throughout high school and college, Waldeck did deliveries, shipping and receiving, and sales for Waldeck’s Office Supplies, until he eventually took over business after his father’s retirement.

After a number of twists and turns and two terms on the Mill Valley City Council, Waldeck is now part of Blaisdell’s Business Products, selling to businesses from downtown San Francisco up to his hometown. Blaisdell’s is an Oakland-based office supply and business products company and the largest, female owned, independent business products supplier in the Bay Area.

“Early on in my career… I met Margee Witt, the bright, warm, and dynamic owner of Blaisdell’s,” Waldeck says. “[Now] I proudly work with Margee and the Blaisdell’s team.”

“Whether you want to green your office, provide ergonomic seating and sit/stand solutions for your employees, have healthy snacks and drinks delivered to your office, Blaisdell’s is your one stop shop for all these products,” Waldeck says.

Along with these services, Blaisdell’s also offers 40,000 basic office supplies, many of them recyclable, for small and large businesses alike. Blaisdell’s current customers include Ghiradelli Chocolate, Recology, Uber, and the Golden State Warriors. Blaisdell’s drivers even hand out Ghiradelli Chocolate with every order.

After the closure of Mill Valley staples like Ideal Stationers and Mill Valley Services, Waldeck strives to bring the “same quality of service, hands on accountability, and passion for product that these fine companies provided.”

Mill Valley customers can have easy access to Blaisdell’s products and services through free next day deliveries carried out by Blaisdell’s own drivers.

“I am ready to become the ‘go to’ guy for office supplies and furniture in Mill Valley,” Waldeck says. “I continually promote [that] just a fifteen minute walk from your hotel, for ten bucks, you can get on a comfortable bus, cross the Golden Gate Bridge, enjoy the shops and ambience of Mill Valley, at the foot of Mount Tamalpais surrounded by Redwood trees.”
